Canal Day

Another Fabulous day... some went golfing, some shopping, some on a boat THROUGH the Canal and others explored the Locks on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal.
Very interesting and awesome to see, particularly because one of the ships that went through wen we were there was the QE!  One photo shows how close the ships are to the sides... remarkable process... and this goes on 30 times a day... Also, a photo of the Bridge of the Americas.. so names because on the North side where we are is North America and when we cross the bridge, we are in South America.

By the way, the cost for a cargo ship to go through the canal... $300,000! multiply that by 30 ships a day ... Every day....Panama is doing VERY well
