Another great day in paradise... another lazy day in paradise... we DID however book some tours for the balance of the week, to various interesting stops like the Canal Locks etc.. some eco tours, birding, shopping and site seeing tours as well. Other than that, our days are filled with walks on the beach, watching the ships line up to enter the Canal, lazing by the pool and dining.
but, our day of joy, was saddened by the news from home that we had lost a good friend. On our tour group, there are many long time friends of "Metro" and we remembered him fondly... people like Wes Stubbs are here... Les and Wes go back to the days with the Cottonpickers, and my brother Barry and I and Jim and Helen Scarrow, as in the photo have been a close friends since the early 70s when we worked on Jims successful campaign as National President of the Kinsmen Club....
Metro will be missed
